Tripping Hazard, New Time Bluegrass with John Ashkenas

The band is certainly structured like a bluegrass quintet, but the repertoire diverges from that a lot, with inspirations ranging from jug band, old and alt-country, and alt-rock. We’re also starting to feature some original instrumentals that would be hard to categorize but don’t sound anything like Monroe or Flatt and Scruggs compositions.
