The Next Set with Ernesto Cervini, Modern Jazz

The Next Set returns to The Emmet Ray on Wednesday, April 1 from 7–8:45pm with an adventurous chordless quartet. Featuring acclaimed trombonist William Carn alongside University of Toronto students Arthur Jones on trumpet and Kieran Menard on bass, the group will explore open textures and creative interplay without a chordal instrument. With Ernesto Cervini on drums, expect an evening of bold improvisation, deep listening, and fresh musical conversation across generations.
