Small Group, Bebop Piano Trio with David Ball

Small Group is a jazz piano trio consisting of Julian Straatsma (piano), Hiro Tanaka (bass), and David Ball (drums). The trio met in college, and have played together throughout the years. They play music in the styles of Oscar Peterson, Wynton Kelly, and McCoy Tyner, and draw influences from various bebop musicians from the 1950’s till now.
