Quartetto Gennaro, Free Jazz

Four leading figures in Toronto’s jazz and improvised music scene. With influences spanning from bebop to free jazz to European improvised music, this quartet plays with energy and conviction while communicating their ideas with sharp articulation rather than the usual free jazz blowout.

Kae Murphy – trumpet

Colin Fisher – tenor saxophone

Andrew Furlong – acoustic bass

Mike Gennaro – drums
