Double bassist Philippe Massé and his trio present a new show featuring original compositions from his debut album, Le vent.

Through a blend of trio jazz, Middle Eastern and classical styles, Le vent evokes the calm, feverishness and power of the Montreal double bassist. Philippe Massé aims to push the boundaries of modern Western jazz by incorporating elements of Eastern compositions. His goal is to make jazz more accessible and interesting to audiences of all backgrounds. His music will transport you into a warm universe while introducing you to new sounds.
