Mike Milligan Trio, Contemporary experimental jazz at the cutting edge

This iteration of the Mike Milligan Trio hails from the increasingly talented and creative jazz scene in Toronto. Seasoned veteran of both the Toronto and Montreal jazz scenes, double bassist Milligan has assembled a group with two of the top young lions in Thadeus Garwood (Drums) and Mattaus Gretzinger (Alto sax). Expect unexpected twists, turns and delight as they take standards and contemporary originals (Wheeler, Shorter et al) and breathe new life into them.
