Calvin Jones is an acoustic and electric bassist who has worked with Steve Coleman, Pharaoh Sanders, Max Roach, Andrew Hill, Greg Osby, Jon Hendricks, Javon Jackson and many others. He is currently performing in the touring production of Hadestown. Together with master drummer Aubrey Dayle, the tandem has played with James Blood Ulmer, David Murray, Chico Freeman and many more. Toronto Saxophonist Brendan Cassidy and guitarist Kim Ratcliffe are mainstays of this city’s music scene. Together they will be playing original tunes by the band and perhaps a few choice standards.
