Bio:

Toronto-based Jon Feldman is an eclectic musician, composer and bandleader. He is a lover of the Fender Rhodes and has recorded and performed on the instrument extensively. He is the leader of the klezmer-jazz fusion band Zebrina, with whom he has made two recordings including one for John Zorn’s Tzadik record label in New York (that featured Tzadik recording artist Ben Goldberg on clarinet). His latest recording, with the Jon Feldman Electric Band, features some of Canada’s most visible jazz recording artists including Kevin Turcotte (trumpet), Eric St-Laurent (electric guitar), Bret Higgins (electric bass), and Andrew Austin (drums) and is currently on rotation at Toronto’s Jazz FM radio station. Jon’s artistry also crosses over into rock/pop music, where he writes songs under his own name. Jon has also worked with the likes of Max Senitt (drums), Colin Kingsmore (drums), Joel Schwartz (guitar), David Buchbinder (trumpet), Peter Lutek (clarinet), Jonathan Kay (saxophone), Joshua Skye Engel (guitar) and Eric Stein (bass). His music has appeared in film.
