The Ernesto Cervini Quartet, Modern Jazz

Ernesto Cervini brings his powerhouse quartet to The Emmet Ray on Wednesday, January 29th for one of their final performances before heading into the studio to record a brand-new album. Featuring Kaelin Murphy (trumpet), Andrew Marzotto (guitar), Mark Godfrey (bass) and Cervini on drums, the band delivers high-energy, deeply interactive performances of genre-pushing modern jazz.

This special night will showcase music from the upcoming recording alongside recent favourites from the band’s book—fiery grooves, singable melodies, and wide-open improvisation, all in the intimate setting of The Emmet Ray.
