Cody Copland Trio, Bebop Jazz

Cody Copland Trio features guitarist Cody Copland with Hiro Tanaka on bass and Nathan Tran on piano. The group focuses on straight ahead bebop, using the guitar led trio format to highlight great tunes, swing, and interplay among band members. There have been many bands throughout the history of jazz that feature this ensemble, such as early Nat King Cole, Tal Farlow, Billy Bean, and more. This band seeks to emulate those great groups of the past with their own interpretations of the standard repertoire.
