“A band of musicians playing seamlessly between genres, ranging from the early 1900s, through the birth of jazz, rock, soul, and pop. Chloe Watkinson’s voice, while powerful, also lends subtle control to showcase the various styles throughout the decades. In order to keep banter limited, a QR code will be provided with links to various resources that explain the topics touched on during the show. A concert, a discussion, a history lesson, and a wholesome social event, with the prevalent theme of political protest, social commentary, and the importance of civil rights in the evolution of music in the 20th century.
