Wagner Petrilli discovered his passion for the violão (Brazilian guitar) at an early age, and grew up apprenticing under several masters of the instrument in São Paulo. In 1998, Wagner moved to Toronto and quickly became a sought-after guitarist in the city’s Brazilian music scene. Since then, he has travelled across Canada performing with a number of artists and ensembles, and has been commissioned to compose and write lyrics for an array of projects. In 2014, with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, he released his first solo CD entitled Confissão, which received much critical acclaim. He was also recently nominated for World Solo Artist of the Year by the Canadian Folk Awards.

Brazilian multi-instrumentalist/singer, composer Carlos Cardozo delivers a strong overview on Brazilian Samba, Bossa Nova, Forró, Funk adding jazz and folkloric fundamentals with a hint of brazilian northeastern rhythms.

Also an exceptional cavaquinho player, Cardozo has changed the scene of Brazilian Samba music in Canada trough a diverse amount of projects, featuring his abilities and skillfulness as bandleader and instrumentalist.
