Jelani Watson & Soul Food Music

Jelani Watson & Soul Food Music play music derived from the Black American Music tradition featuring sounds of jazz, rnb, neo-soul, gospel and bits of carribean influences.

Jelani Watson will be joined by John Axon (keys), Devon Goping (bass) and Ethan Groves (drums) on Monday, November 30th at The Emmet Ray. Jelani’s music takes inspiration from the jazz, rnb, gospel and soul traditions. The evening will feature mostly original tunes, and some reimagined jazz standards.
