Chris Rice Quartet, Standards and lesser known tunes

Hailing from the British Columbia interior, Chris Rice is an upright bass player making big moves in the Toronto scene. Currently entering his third year at Humber Polytechnics esteemed jazz program, and inspired by the legendary quarter notes of Ray Brown and Christian Mcbride Chris has been developing his own unique sound on, and off of the bandstand. Chris can be found performing regularly at venues all around the GTA such as The Rex, The Emmet Ray, and Manhattans
