CanAlians, Funk, R&B, Motown & Soul

Don’t miss this night of fabulous classic R&B, Funk and Soul with splashes of Rock and Jazz, from a bunch off great players from both Canada & Australia – hence the name!

The musicians come from a galaxy of past experiences:

Ross Ogden (Keyboards, Saxophone, Vocals) – who hails from Australia and has performed all over South East Asia, is a multi-instrumentalist now located in Toronto, Ross performs as a combined keyboard, sax & vocalist with some of TOs funkiest and most experienced musicians.

Phil Smith (Vocals / Guitar) – is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and has toured extensively over the years. Phil’s influences are rooted in R&B, Reggae and Blues Oriented Rock.

Cameron Guest (Guitar, Vocals) – has performed regularly for many years as a vocalist and guitarist in Ontario cover bands, at venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe, the Horseshoe Tavern and the Beaches Jazz Festival. He’s shared the stage with several Canadian icons including Doug Riley and Phil Dwyer.

Rob Reedijk (Bass, Vocals) – has performed with a great deal of highly acclaimed and accomplished musicians at many venues in Eastern Canada. He has played in many bands featuring various styles including Soul, RnB ,Reggae, Funk, Pop, Rock, and Jazz. He has also performed original music at the same time as his side career as a producer/composer/engineer.

Blake Manning (Drums, Vocals) – Drummer and percussionist for Matthew Good, Rodriguez, The Heartbroken, David Wilcox, Tom Cochrane and more. He also adds lead and backing vocals.
