The Townsfolk, A strong blend of post-bop, avant-jazz, & ‘the modern trio’

As a way of exhibiting the vast community of musicians in Toronto, The Townsfolk was created. Drummer, composer, and Band Leader Aaron Blewett curates musicians who have their own unique approaches to music & art to perform originals & pieces from the various canons of the city’s culture. Each performance of The Townsfolk features a different iteration, with this particular iteration being that of the indomitable Patrick Smith on Sax, & the expressive Christopher Parnis on Upright bass.
