The Next Set with Ernesto Cervini, Modern Jazz

The Next Set returns on Wednesday, March 4th from 7–8:45pm with a powerful mix of experience and emerging artistry. Acclaimed trumpeter Kevin Turcotte joins forces with University of Toronto Master’s students Bjorn Kriel on vibraphone and Chris Parnis on bass, alongside Ernesto Cervini on drums. Expect original music, adventurous interplay, and the kind of creative risk-taking that defines this series—pairing Canada’s top improvisers with the next generation of voices.
