Nick Scott Trio, Modern Jazz

The Nick Scott Group is an evolving lineup of like minded modern jazz players. From duo to quintet, the focus on original compositions maintains a unified aesthetic. His debut album ‘Vestiges’ was recorded with a quartet at Verge studios, self produced and released in 2012. Recent band lineup includes Chris Pruden on piano and keyboards, Eric West on Drums, and Julian Anderson-Bowes on bass. Their most recent release, Onward (Live at The Rex Hotel) was recorded at the end of a residency with this band at the legendary Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar in Toronto on April 25, 2023.
