Double Play, Sam Dickinson & Eric West, Modern Jazz Standards
This band was formed out of necessity in 2024 when a bassist couldn’t be found for a last minute trio gig. The concept quickly turned from practical to creative, and now lends itself to exploratory takes on standards, originals, and improvisations. “”Double Play”” is bass-less, but far from baseless.
