Presty Quintet, heart warming jazz standards and timeless popular music

A mixed bag of York grads, Humber students, and raw talent, these musicians first came together playing and dancing to ska music at Grossman’s Tavern with Sound One. What began as a monthly ska night evolved into a dynamic collaboration that spans genres, treating audiences across Toronto to their soft melodies and heartwarming jazz standards.

This performance will be filmed for the German TV series Megacities (ZDF), spotlighting Toronto’s nightlife and creative communities. After featuring our city’s vibrant bike scene which I’ve been part of since the early Toronto Cruisers days in 2016 the producers are now following the story to the stage to highlight another passion: jazz in Toronto!
