Large Posterior always consists of different musicians – so no performance ever had the same lineup. Large posterior’s repertoire could be labeled but not defined as modern and contemporary jazz fused with elements of more mainstream genres such as hip-hop and R&B. Large posterior draws an audience’s attention through catchy grooves and keeps their attention through the unique improvisatory solos of each musician in the band. The groups sound is influenced by artists such as Braxton Cook\, Butcher Brown\, Marquis Hill\, Geri Allen\, and Herbie Hancock among many others.
