Having completed his degree at the University of Toronto, Thomas Mason was immersed in a rich musical environment that ignited his passion for jazz. Mason is particularly influenced by the sounds of Canadian jazz and the iconic works of legends like Reg Schwager, Ed Bickert, Dave Young and Barry Elmes. These artists not only shaped his musical style but also instilled a deep appreciation for the nuances of jazz.

This quartet is a dynamic jazz ensemble which will deliver some innovative sound and captivating performances. The quartet features four talented musicians who bring a unique background and approach to playing standards. This quartet blends elements of bebop, modal jazz, and original compositions, creating a fresh blend of chemistry and interplay.
