The Hogtown Playboys, Old Country
Formed in 2017 in Toronto, Canada, The Hogtown Playboys are Noah Fine (guitar, vocals), Jonathan St-Germain (bass, vocals) and Brian Raught (drums, vocals). Their mission: to bring classic country music to the modern listener. The Playboys songbook is a heartfelt tribute to the golden era of country, when songs spoke to the working man (and woman), the lonely and the heartbroke. Often characterized simply as “”three chords and the truth””, the Playboys cover timeless tracks from the 1950s through the 1980s by legendary artists like Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, bringing rich harmonies and infectious rhythms to songs from the best era in country music.
