Ariane Morin Klezmer Brass, Klezmer with a brass twist
Ariane Morin is a Montreal based folk saxophonist established in the Klezmer and Balkan music scene. She has taught and performed at Klezkanada, Ashkenaz, and Yiddish New York, shared the stage with Michael Winograd, Frank London, Dobranotsh, Matt Darriau, and more. In 2024, after being active in the klezmer scene for nearly 15 years, she finally released her long-awaited album, “Tantshoyz” recorded in New York with a stellar band, featuring her own original compositions for Yiddish dancing.
She will bring forward the brass in Klezmer! With Nathan Dell-Vandenberg on trombone, Max Forster on trumpet and Ian Tulloch on tuba.
