Jonah Ain Trio (feat. Ezra Beber and Jordan Pelunsky), Contemporary jazz

Jonah Ain is a pianist, composer and bandleader making waves in the Montreal and Toronto jazz scenes. With an eclectic variety of influences ranging from blues and bebop to classical music, rock and a touch of the avant-garde, his imaginative playing is deeply personal and searching. Joined by NYC’s Ezra Beber on drums and distinguished Toronto bassist Jordan Pelunsky, his trio will be performing a mix of original compositions, post-bop classics, free improvisations, and fresh takes on the jazz standard repertoire.
