Jonah Ain is a pianist, composer and bandleader making waves in the Montreal and Toronto jazz scenes. With an eclectic variety of influences ranging from blues and bebop to classical music, rock and a touch of the avant-garde, his imaginative playing is deeply personal and searching. His dynamic trio will be performing a mix of original compositions, post-bop classics, free improvisations, and fresh takes on the jazz standard repertoire.
