Jelani Watson Quartet, jazz, rnb, neo-soul

Jelani Watson will be joined by John Axon (keys), Joel Sainvil (bass) and Jonathan Kerr (drums) on Saturday, April 19th at The Emmet Ray. Jelani’s music takes inspiration from the jazz, rnb, gospel and soul traditions. The night will feature a mix of original tunes, rnb covers, and reimagined jazz standards. Audiences can expect soulful renditions of some familiar tunes and can also expect to be introduced to some music that they have not had the chance to experience yet.
