Jelani Watson Jazz/Funk

Jelani Watson will be joined by John Axon (keys), Antonio Bennett (drums) and Joel Sainvil (bass) on Saturday, Oct 5 at The Emmett Ray. Jelani’s music takes inspiration from the jazz, rnb, gospel and soul traditions. The night will feature a mix of original tunes, reimagined jazz standards and some classic rnb. Audiences can expect soulful renditions of some familiar tunes and can also expect to be introduced to some music that they have not had the chance to experience yet.
