A Montreal-based guitarist with Israeli and Parisian roots, Samuel Bonnet bridges multiple musical universes: “luminous, meticulous technique” (Pan M 360) with “raw authenticity” (Jazz Infos France) and a mastery of the natural resonance of the classical guitar with the adventurous spirit of jazz improvisation. Using his trio as an interactive space through which to creatively explore his pluralistic cultural and musical roots, Bonnet offers audiences an intimate and inspirational journey into the heart of a contemporary, cosmopolitan experience through the soulful language of jazz. In 2023, Bonnet was a featured artist in the Quebec Showcase at Europe’s prestigious Jazzahead! tradeshow. Put most simply, his music is a “wonderful discovery” (Jazz Infos France).This show is part of an Ontario tour to launch a brand new live album called “Live! in Harmony”.
