Chloe Watkinson & the back street men, eclectic: history of contemporary music 1920-2000

From 7-8:45pm we’ll play through the 20th century. Starting around the 20s with gospel blues etc onto jazz rock soul, into Motown funk disco pop

Basically the concept is that through the show the audience hears how the history of music drastically evolved in that century.

The show will also evolve month to month as I get my bearings as a host haha, but I try to mention important topics such as how slaves brought to North America, brought syncopated rhythms with them and how the tragedy and trauma of slavery and the civil rights movement gave us the music we enjoy today.
